Salvation is simple. God loves you and wants relationship with you. You can be forgiven—forever clean in the sight of God through Jesus Christ! Christ is for India...a love for all the world.
Doing It Our Way
We complicate much of life, but salvation is straightforward. The hardest thing is recognizing and admitting your need.
There’s a reason that most India religions—and most world philosophies, for that matter—ultimately rely on human works to fix what’s broken in our minds and souls. Whether we try to work a type of deliverance through fasting, prayer, pilgrimage, puja, sacrifice, confession, or some other act of asceticism or atonement to cleanse the believer, we humans tend to like the do it our own way.
So human works are meant to be the basis for approaching the divine to make things right. We try so many different methods, just to check the box and say we’re “doing our best” and we’re “good people”.
Are You a Good Person?
But no matter how nice we are, we never really are “good people”.
Ultimately, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
The Christian apostle Paul understood this intimately when he said, I do not understand what I do...For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. (Romans 7:15 – 20)
Paul knew himself to be a “slave to sin”. Once you recognize your own sins and your complete inability to be free from them on your own, the rest of redemption is simple.
Salvation Through Jesus Christ
To find the ultimate freedom and become God’s precious child forever, clean and sinless in His sight, all you have to do is follow these easy steps:
1) Believe that Jesus Christ died to save you from your sins.
2) Confess your sins to Him and repent. Lay your sins at the foot of the cross. They are gone—as far as the east is from the west!
3) Rely on Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Him, confessing Him before the world.
Try to get your hands on a Bible or
find a Bible site online.
The Gospel of John is an especially good place to go to learn more about God’s matchless grace through his sinless Son Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16
